Small Business League Wins Legal Fees in FOIA Dispute

The American Small Business League was awarded $54,000 in legal fees for expenses it incurred in suing the Small Business Administration for a report on diversion of funds from small business to large, multinational corporations. The league also said it was having difficulty getting a list of companies awarded contracts in 2004. “Previously, this information was easily accessible. However, since the Bush administration came into power, the names of these companies are nowhere to be found.” (11/1/05)
