South Dakota’s Attorney General Larry Long said he may recommend to lawmakers a freedom of information act or similar legislation to provide with some uniformity in requesting public records. He may also suggest a common fee structure statewide. Long’s office is not finishing up a study of accessibility of government records. (6/26/07)
