The U.S. Supreme Court today agreed to hear the Federal Communications Commission’s appeal of a lower court ruling, which found the commission’s crackdown on fleeting expletives to be "arbitrary, capricious and unjustified."

Last summer, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York ordered the FCC to go back and reevaluate its indecency policy.
