The Texas Freedom of Information Foundation and other open government advocates have expressed concern about a series of exemptions proposed to the state’s open records law. The proposals include an increase in copying charges, the sealing of search warrants, and protection of identifying information for those who work in the court system or in law enforcement agencies.
