A lot of towns across America are wrestling with how to separate official and personal e-mails sent by employees on government-owned computers. The manager in Marana, AZ, has come up with a simple, direct approach. He’s warned employees that they sent personal messages at their own peril; the town will consider all employee e-mail public record unless the content is exempt by state law. (4/18/07).
