The town of Tumwater, WA, is putting 25,000 public records online, some dating back to the 1800s. “All historical information — anything that we’re required to keep — is there,” said Finance Director Fayla Gjertsen. The posted records include meeting minutes, copies of ordinances and contracts, and leases. (4/17/07)
