The family of a man killed in a swat team drug raid in Sunrise, Florida have sued the city’s police department over it’s refusal to turn over records of the incident. Police contend most of the records are part of a current investigation. There are discrepancies in existing accounts over whether the man, who was hot 10 times, pointed a gun at police, whether police knocked and identified themselves, and the amount of marijuana found. 1/13/06
