As the Democrats tell – and now show – it, the Republican majority controlling the Virginia legislature are holding late night, vote-less committee sessions to kill bills without the public or press being aware of what’s going on. So the minority operatives have started video-taping the sessions and showing then online. A Republican spokesman called it “Gotcha” politics. “It’s an effort to demonize Republicans.” (1/29/07)
