The Supreme Court of Virginia agreed to hear a case in which families in Spotsylvania County  asked to keep the settlement amounts from their wrongful death suits confidential.

The case involves a heart medicine company that sold questionable prescriptions, which allegedly lead to the death of six people.

Last June, a lower judge ruled that the company must disclose the amount paid in settlements but due to the appeal, no dollar amounts have been released.
