An appellate court in Wisconsin ruled that district school superviser was not entitled to records of the discussion about her contract at a closed school board meeting. The board went into open session following the closed meeting and voted not to renew her contract. “Society’s interest in having certain matters discussed in closed session outweighs society’s interest in ‘open government,’” the 1st District Court of Appeals for the state said.
