It’s going to cost the City of Spokane more than $300,000 for withholding records on the controversial financing of a parking garage. The city council apologized for violating the law and agreed to pay Camas Magazine and its former editor, which had sued the 90 documents dealing with financing of the $110 million project. The pay out covers both penalties for breaking the lawand legal fees incurred by the magazine and the editor in separate suits. (10/4/06)
