The West Virginia Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse supports a bill before the legislator that would open the attorney general’s hiring process by requiring that contract attorneys be selected after competitive bidding. The group pressed its case by sending the AG a tube of sunblock to ward off burn in case the legislature does approve that small bit of sunshine. (3/5/07)
