The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has joined a growing list of federal agencies where federal scientists are switch calls from reporters to the agencies communications office, the Society of Environmental Journalists notes in its WatchDog newsletter. The key instruction is to immediately get the reporter’s name and phone number, then “end the call” and contact the communications office. (6/14/07)
