The Baltimore Sun was awarded $11,000 in legal fees spent in winning access to city records involving the investigation of a domestic dispute involving a former police commissioner. The newspaper said it will donate the money to the National Sunshine Week project, a public awareness campaign about open government sponsored by newspapers and broadcasters. (2/3/05)
