The Congressional Budget Office said that a provision in the OPEN Government Act, which calls for a series of administrative reforms to improve federal agency handling of Freedom of Information requests, would cost the government $6 million in added legal fee recovery costs alone. We disagreed in this report, putting the cost at approximately $350,000. (6/20/07)
