The Associated Press and several other media organizations filed suit to hold up a federal investigation into the Crandall Canyon mine disaster until a court can rule on whether the proceedings should be public. The Labor Department has refused to allow the public to attend the interviews being conducted as part of its investigation of the Aug. 6 mine collapse. (10/2/07)
