A judge in Grand Forks has sealed all documents related to the skirmish over the “Fighting Sioux” nickname at the University of North Dakota. The university is jousting with the NCAA, insisting on it’s right to continue to use the Sioux as a symbol for the athletic teams, and news media have asked for copies of all the related records.
