Wisconsin’s Supreme Court said the images on the computer of a fired teacher are public record and should be made public under state law. The unanimous opinion said there was significant public interest in the teacher’s conduct and in knowing how the government disciplines its employees. The teacher was fired after the school district determined he had used the school computer to view pornography. (5/15/07)
