Florida’s Supreme Court said in an administrative order that allowing Internet access to court records is only a matter of “when and under what conditions.” The court said clerks of court must be prepared to comply with technical standards adopted by the court before public access can be allowed. But it authorized a pilot program in Manatee County to test safeguards to privacy information. (7/12/06)
