The Army’s official Web sites violated operational security far more often that military bloggers, according to an Army investigative report obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. The Army tightened its rules on soldiers blogging in May, requiring posts be cleared by commanders. But the study showed that only 28 postings on 594 soldier websites had crossed the line while there 1,8913 violations on 878 official military web sites. (8/20/07)
