The Indianapolis Star reports that the jury is hung on an 18-month pilot program allowing television cameras in state courts. “Insufficient evidence,” said WISH news director Kevin Finch during a panel discussion of the test. He noted that only one criminal trial was televised during the test period because the rules required that all parties approve. A public defender said defense lawyers would never agree. (11/12/07)
