Maine Creates State Records, Meetings Access Committee

Maine Gov. John Baldacci signed into law a bill creating a Freedom of Access Advisory Committee to guide citizens in obtaining information from state and local governments. The committee will also advise the legislature and serve as a resource for training and education about the state’s access laws. (5/9/06)
