Pennsylvania Judge Rules Autopsy Report in Police Shooting Can Stay Sealed A Commonwealth Court judge ruled that the autopsy report on an Easton, Pennsylvania police officer fatally shot last year at police headquarters by another officer can remain sealed. Two newspapers argued the public interest in the shooting warranted the report’s release. Commonwealth Court Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt said the coroner need release only the cause and manner of death, and that the full autopsy report does not have to be made public because it could contain sensitive medical information and graphic autopsy photographs.
