The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee voted to approve the Toxic Right-to-Know Protection Act (S. 595), which would overturn a Environmental Protection Agency effort to limit the reporting requirements for polluting facilities as part of its Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) that significantly reduced toxic release reporting requirements for polluting facilities.
