Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Arlen Specter, R-PA, the ranking member, have urged their respective party leaders to call a vote on a reporter-source shield bill that passed the committee several months ago. It has been held up since October because of objections from the Bush Administration and Sen. Joh Kyl, R-AZ.
