The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge to the refusal of the Transportation Security Administration’s decision that information about airport security screening is Sensitive Security Information not subject to disclosure under FOIA. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals had dismissed a suit filed by John Gilmore, co-founder of the electronic Frontier Foundation. (1/9/07)
