Last year, Wired News filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records related to a computer virus that crippled border-screening computers at the Department of Homeland Security. When the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection eventually released three heavily redacted documents, Wired went to federal court, where a judge uncovered some of the censored text.
