Vice President Cheney prefers a one-way flow of information – and that’s not out, the Washington Post reports in a four-part series that began just a few days after new reports on the vice president stonewalling a federal oversight agency on his office’s handling of classified information. “Stealth is among Cheney’s most effective tools,” says the Post, noting his invention of the document stamp “Treated As: Sensitive Compartmented Information” to seal information, his man-size Mosler safe for storage of workaday business, his refusal to disclose the names or size of his staff, and his order to secret service to destroy visitor logs.
