Open meeting requirements apply to regular meetings. D.C. Code Ann. § 2-574(1).
The Act requires every agency subject to the Act to prescribe the time, place and dates of its regular meetings. O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1(d)(1).
Differences between “regular” meetings and “special” or “emergency” meetings under Kentucky’s Open Meetings Act are set forth in Ky. Rev. Stat. 61.820 & 61.823.
Regular, special, and emergency meetings are subject to the New Mexico Open Meetings Law. See NMSA 1978 § 10-15-1(B) and (F).
All regular meetings are subject to the open meetings law.
“[W]henever members of a governmental body meet to engage in government business, be it discussion, decision or information gathering, the Open Meeting Law applies . . . .” Showers, 135 Wis. 2d at 80, 398 N.W.2d at 156.
